Frost sensitive, hardy to about 25°F, USDA 9-11; a tender low-desert agave.

Care Guide
Water every 2 weeks while establishing, then monthly; avoid keeping the crown wet to prevent rot.
Remove dead outer leaves; monocarpic, so remove after flowering—note it produces few offsets and often reseeds instead.
Optional light spring feeding.
Agave snout weevil is the primary threat; use a preventive soil drench.
Frost-tender below 25°F; the fine leaves can scorch, so protect in cold snaps.
